Meet the team…

They have a combined over 20 years of experience in the event industry, resulting in a vast network of connections. Sara’s keen eye for design coupled with Heather’s affinity for logistics makes a perfect recipe for a dream partnership.

Sara Beveridge, Founder & Principal Planner

A native of Toledo, Ohio, Sara made the trek to Ithaca, New York to attend the Cornell Hotel School, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration.  During her tenure at Cornell, Sara was selected for prestigious internships with Union Square Hospitality Group in New York City and Lettuce Entertain You in Chicago. She also earned her chops in the kitchen as a teaching assistant in culinary theory (which her husband, Neil, really appreciates to this day!)

When it came time to leave Cornell Sara traveled to Southern California to begin her career as an event management executive, gaining years of experience working at renowned luxury hotels in Los Angeles including Montage Beverly Hills and The London West Hollywood. With a unique combination of design creativity and impeccable organizational skills, Sara has successfully planned and managed hundreds of five-star events for discerning clients and celebrities alike.

But enough of the serious stuff. The real scoop on Sara is that she’s a fun-loving, highly dedicated hospitality expert who loves to partner with clients, take risks and think outside the box to create fabulous, once-in-a-lifetime events.  Which pretty much sums it up!

Heather Freedman, Lead Planner

Heather was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Jacksonville, North Carolina by a family who has deep roots in entertaining. Her grandparents were Vaudeville performers who immersed Heather in a world full of magic and creativity, and Heather quickly learned that there are no limits to what a person is capable of doing. In 2003 Heather relocated to Los Angeles from North Carolina after attending East Carolina University and landed a job at the prestigious Beverly Hills Hotel, a place she holds very dear and close to her heart. After approximately twelve successful years at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Heather decided to venture out on her own to start a wedding and event planning company based in West Hollywood, CA called Delmar Events named after her grandmother.

Heather’s experience at the Beverly Hills hotel along with her optimism, passion for excellence and meticulousness is the driving force behind the success of all her events.
